The R2A-HG Steelheart Series Upright two section refrigerator with half glass doors is a space saving workhorse. Solid state control system with temperature alarms and LED display (°F or °C). With a net capacity of 50.37 cubic feet this efficient upright refrigerator and front air flow design is perfect for hot/tight kitchens. The R2A-HG is constructed of stainless steel, which protects this unit from accidental damage and rust. Plus, it is easy to clean.
The R2A-HG also includes Interior LED light bars are vertically mounted on each wall, (4) 4″ stem casters (2 with brakes) are standard, plus a field reversible, spring assisted self closing door with stay open feature (no kit req’d). Electrical consumption of 5.05 kWh/day at 8 Amps, 10 ft long cord with a 5 – 15P NEMA plug. Optional kits: 6″ Legs, Epoxy or stainless steel shelves, Tray/pan slides, Foot pedal door opener, Additional air filter. The unit is ETL Safety (US & C) Listed, ETL Sanitation and includes a six years parts warranty, five years labor warranty, and seven years compressor warranty.

Warranty

5-Year – Labor on Entire Machine.
6-Year – Parts on Entire Machine.
7-Year – Parts on Compressor.

In the event that proper registration has not been completed, the warranty shall begin from the factory ship date or the distributor sold date, whichever is available. The owner/user is responsible to provide valid proof of installation if the unit is installed more than 180 days from the current registration start date. Regardless of the actual installation date, the warranty start date shall not exceed twenty-four (24) months from the factory ship date. 

The obligation of Hoshizaki and the rights and remedies of the owner/user under this warranty are exclusively limited to:

• Repair or replacement, including labor charges, of all parts or assemblies that in Hoshizaki's opinion are defective within five years after the original date of installation.

• Repair or replacement, excluding labor charges, of all parts or assemblies that in Hoshizaki's opinion are defective within the one year period after the five year warranty period.

• Repair or replacement, excluding labor charges, of a compressor that in Hoshizaki's opinion is defective within the two year period after the five year warranty period.

The labor warranty shall include standard straight time labor charges at the product location only and shall exclude charges for travel time, mileage or other premium charges. Any labor service required to fulfill the warranty obligation must be performed by a service company qualified and accepted by Hoshizaki and/or the local Hoshizaki distributor.

This warranty does not include parts or labor coverage for component failure or other damage resulting from:

• External electrical power failure or miswiring to Product for any reason.

• Adverse operating conditions as set forth in the owner/user manual for the Product.

• Failure to clean and/or maintain Product as set forth in the owner/user manual for the Product.

All claims for labor or parts must be made through the local Hoshizaki distributor. The defective part for which labor reimbursement is claimed, together with the service invoice, must be returned to the Hoshizaki distributor within fifteen days from the date of service to be eligible for labor and parts warranty coverage. All replacement parts must be approved Hoshizaki parts. Incidents of failure that do not require replacement of a part shall be explained in sufficient detail on the service invoice to identify the failure. All claims shall include the product model number, serial number, original date of installation, and customer identification.

Warranty does not cover standard wear parts which include door gaskets, incandescent bulbs, and fluorescent bulbs. Warranty also does not cover issues caused by improper installation or lack of basic preventative maintenance which includes, for Refrigerators and Freezers, regular cleaning of condenser coils.

The foregoing warranty shall not apply to (1) any part or assembly (a) that has been altered, modified, or changed, (b) that has been subjected to misuse, abuse, neglect or accidents, or (c) any Product on which the serial or model number has been removed or altered, or (2) any Product that has been installed and/or maintained inconsistent with Hoshizaki's technical publications, or (3) any Product that has been installed or is located outside the standard warranty coverage area. Warranty valid in United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and U.S. territories. Contact factory for warranty in other countries. The seven year compressor parts warranty shall not apply when the Product refrigeration system is modified with a condenser, heat reclaimed device, or parts and assemblies other than those manufactured by Hoshizaki unless Hoshizaki has accepted modifications for specific installations in writing.

Hoshizaki assumes no liability for misuse or inadequate maintenance of the Product. In no event shall the user be entitled to recover incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to, damages for inconvenience, food loss, rental or replacement equipment, loss of profits, or other commercial loss.

Returns/Refunds/Damages

Upon delivery of the shipment, please open boxes and inspect thoroughly for any and all damage BEFORE signing for the package.

If the shipment arrives and the customer signs for the delivery (stating it is in good condition), and later after opening the shipment finds that it is damaged, then the customer will need to file a freight claim with the appropriate shipping carrier, as the customer has assumed responsibility for the delivery (stating it arrived in good condition) by their signature.

Hoshizaki & Chilly Cellar is not responsible for the replacement or refund of a damaged product signed for and received by the purchaser from the shipping company.

If you receive the item and upon inspection find damage, REFUSE the item, document the damage and a new item replacement item will be sent to you. Do NOT accept delivery.

All return requests must be submitted within 30 days of the delivery date and must be in new, unused condition and contained within the original packaging. All returns are subject to the customer providing all shipping cost. This includes both the cost to their location and back to sender, plus a mandatory 25% restocking fee. The customer will be responsible to schedule a delivery back to Chilly Cellar. Upon arrival and inspection of the product, the refund will be issued back to the customer, minus the aforementioned deductions.
